  • A day full of dynamics: 19 teachers learned to use mathematical software from the DGD to discover how patterns can emerge from dynamic processes. The workshop was organized by Jürgen Richter-Gebert, Gero Friesecke, and Massimo Fornasier of the TU Munich.

Center for Geometry and Computational Design

  • At the TU Vienna, the newly founded "Center for Geometry and Computational Design" (GCD) was opened on Friday, 14 November 2014. It's mission is the development of new geometrical tools for technological needs. The center is directed by Helmut Pottmann, who is also active in project A08 at DGD, so we look forward to a close cooperation between the GCD and DGD.
