Require­ments

• suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) and doc­tor­ate in math­em­at­ics or com­puter sci­ence
• very good know­ledge of geo­metry, dif­fer­en­tial geo­metry, com­plex ana­lysis, and pro­gram­ming exper­i­ence are required
• great interest in pure as well as applied research (e.g. applic­a­tions in archi­tec­ture and design) is required
• we expect inde­pend­ent work on high aca­demic level
• good com­mand of Ger­man and/or Eng­lish, both writ­ten and spoken, will­ing­ness to acquire lack­ing lan­guage skills in either Eng­lish or Ger­man is expec­ted
• know­ledge in geo­met­ric mod­el­ling, Riemann sur­faces and integ­rable sys­tems, as well as related areas, is a plus
• pro­gam­ming exper­i­ence in Java, python or C++ is advant­age­ous
