Early career support is a key goal of the SFB/TRR 109. In addition to our host universities offers, we shape various initiatives to respond to early career researcher’s concerns, ideas and issues. Nevertheless, in many cases, individual support is additionally required. Both principal nodes, Berlin and Munich, have well established graduate schools in mathematics; these provide the infrastructure for graduate education related to the SFB/TRR 109.

This weekly seminar is intended for PhD Students and Postdocs to informally discuss topics in the field of Geometry and Mathematical Physics.
The young researchers of the SFB/TRR 109 met in Erfurt from 5-7 March 2018. The three days were filled with scientific discussions, networking, and informal scientific exchange. The program also included poster sessions and a career symposium as well as a future workshop held by our managing director.
Our Summer Schools offer advanced scientific courses in SFB/TRR 109-related topics, held by the PIs of the CRC and international guests.
