At the TU Vienna, the newly founded "Center for Geometry and Computational Design" (GCD) was opened on Friday, 14 November 2014. It's mission is the development of new geometrical tools for technological needs. The center is directed by Helmut Pottmann, who is also active in project A08 at DGD, so we look forward to a close cooperation between the GCD and DGD.

Das Präsidium der TU Berlin hat den Preis „Fair für Familie 2014“ ins Leben gerufen, um innovative Ideen zu mehr Familienfreundlichkeit und vorbildliche Beispiele für einen familiengerechten Universitätsalltag zu würdigen.
